Without doubt, this was THE BEST amplifier that I've ever owned. I purchased my VOX AC30 top boost in 1964/65 from LEN STILES music shop in Lewisham, SE London complete with the chrome stand and a dust cover. It was in mint condition when I put it in part exchange for the T-60 bass amp in 1968 and in retrospect was one of the worst things I've ever done knowing how much they are worth now.

The earlier models had the top boost panel at the rear, but mine was definitely the 6 input model as shown in the photos with the grey control panel and the top boost controls included. These being left to right:

• INPUTS  : VIB TREM - NORMAL - BRILLIANT ( 2 jacks per channel)
• VIBRATO : SPEED - VIB TREM (depth)
• VOLUME  : VIB TREM - NORMAL - BRILLIANT
• TONE     : TREBLE - BASS - CUT

I always used the BRILLIANT channel which gave a 'kick arse' sound that I'll never forget :-)
