Kenley Observatory renaming ceremony
On December 2nd 2006, the CAS observatory at Kenley was officially renamed THE NORMAN FISHER
OBSERVATORY in recognition of the man who had put so much of his spare time into the project and
indeed into the CAS over many years. Norman sadly passed away in 1994 and it was a kind gesture of the
CAS to honour his memory with this act. Larry Fisher, Norman's son, was invited to unveil the plaque.
Margaret, Norman's wife was also present along with other CAS members both from the past and present.
